Æon Nine On Sale at Electric Story

The ninth issue of your favorite critically-acclaimed small press electronic magazine (We are your favorite, aren't we? You're our favorite readers...) is now on sale at Electric Story, at a great 20% discount. We think it's an absolutely wonderful issue, with lots of terrific fiction and nonfiction and poetry and opinion. Also spiffy full-color illustrations, some blood, some sweat, and some tears. Buy one. Make us happy.

And while you're basking in the warm glow of making us happy, make us even happier. Join the Æon tribe for more news and discussion about Æon Speculative Fiction.

It's been almost two months since Aeon Nine was announced and it still isn't available from Fictionwise which is the only place that offers multiple formats. MSReader format isn't an option for me, so is there any hope of seeing it at Fictionwise?

Ellen, I've emailed Fictionwise, and I'll post here when they figure out what the heck is going on. Thanks for the heads-up. -Bridget

It looks a little slow in Weblog space for you. Going through your website, I noted numerous pages that could stand a little updating with regard to copyright notices, current events, and the like.

The reason I bring this up is that in viewing the pages, I find myself wondering if Æon is actively reading or not. Likewise, a weblog with the lasting posting made nearly a year ago begs for editors to encourage others to post more actively.

Gene, you're absolutely right that we've been neglecting the blog by not posting our news there when we post it to the front page of the site, where it's pretty current. We're undergoing a lot of changes, though a quick search around the 'net will reveal we're not only reading, but have published Aeon Ten, Eleven, and as of tomorrow, Twelve.

While we're making all these changes, we'll be sure to post news to the blog FIRST, where it'll do the most good! Thanks for keeping us on our toes.
